If we have kids, they will have the strangest, nerdiest, and geekiest parents possible. And nothing would kill me more than if our kids grew up to be normal. I have dreams of watching Star Trek: TNG with my daughter, and having A teach her how to play Portal. I have dreams of family vacations to Otakon, E3, or the Apple Keynote.

I want us to have our strange, perfect family. I want kids to call our children weird and have them come home to brag about it, rather than come home in tears. Yep, I’m weird; I’m a nerd. But I wear those badges proudly and embrace them with all my nerdom.

I hope our kids are as perfectly weird as we are, A. I really do <3
